Keating Mechanical is your preferred geothermal contractor.
As a member of the Manitoba Geothermal Energy Alliance, and one of only 11 Manitoban members of the Canadian GeoExchange Coalition, Keating Mechanical is a natural choice.
We assess each project carefully, whether in a new home or a retrofit, and advise you appropriately. Among other aspects, one will be the type of ground loop. There are four ground loop designs, and we'll recommend one based on various factors. Some of these factors are:
1) your home's heating requirements, 2) access for drilling equipment, 3) adequate spacing for the loop field, 4) drilling obstructions (such as water lines, sewer lines and overhead/underground cables), 5) drilling conditions, and 6) depth of bedrock. |

Count your costs, and plan for a brighter future. Geothermal systems are more expensive to install than a conventional heating and cooling system, but your annual costs will be 50 to 70 percent lower. Financing and incentives are available to help you budget your investment.
Make sure to check our incentives page for more help. |

Planning to switch your existing system to geothermal?
It's good to plan ahead - doing a job right, the first time, is what has made Keating Mechanical the right choice for your heating and cooling needs. As you're planning your retrofit (replacing your existing system), remember that a project like this disrupts your landscaping. Home renovations may also be needed to accommodate the new interior components. Some homes will also need to upgrade their electrical infrastructure to accommodate the load of larger geothermal heat pump motors. |
